REMUS Scholarship

Bachelor’s and Master’s Scholarships of Excellence for Female Students

Together with TU Graz, REMUS will award five scholarships to talented and motivated female students in the field of mechanical engineering and digital engineering for a maximum period of two years.

REMUS

With over 750 employees, REMUS produces exhaust systems for the global market. The corporate group is a development partner and original equipment supplier for the international automotive industry and is also a firmly established member of the car tuning industry.

Applications for this scholarship are open from 10 June to 25 July 2022.

Quick Facts

  • Two Bachelor's Scholarships for female students in the Digital Engineering programme
  • One Bachelor's Scholarship for female students in the Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics programmes
  • Two Master's Scholarships for female students in the Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics, or Production, Science and Management (PSM) programmes
    The scholarship is preferably awarded to newly admitted students at TU Graz.
  • Length: Support will be provided for a maximum of 24 months (with appropriate proof of achievement)
  • Amount: For bachelor’s students, the amount provided each year is 4,000 €, and when appropriate proof of achievement has been provided, a total of 8,000 € over the period of two years. For master’s students, the amount provided each year is 8,000 €, and when appropriate proof of achievement has been provided, a total of 16,000 € over the period of two years.
  • Additional benefits: It is possible to fill an – additionally paid – internship position at REMUS for 2 months during the two-year period. Further integration into the REMUS activities is possible.

Requirements and Admission Requirements

For the bachelor’s scholarship:

All complete applications submitted by female students who have been admitted to the bachelor's programme since the winter semester 2022/23 and have thus far provided excellent proof of academic achievement will be considered.

For the master’s scholarship:

All complete applications submitted by female students who have been admitted to the master's programme since the winter semester 2022/23 and have thus far provided excellent proof of academic achievement will be considered.

 

Any admission requirements must, therefore, be met. Upon receipt of the scholarships, proof of academic achievement must be provided after one year.

Application

The complete applications should be sent by e-mail between 10 June and 25 July 2022 to tugraz100noSpam@tugraz.at (mentioning the scholarship, e.g. REMUS Scholarship).

Applicants studying "Digital Engineering", Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Business Economics are required to hand in their application papers in German; applicants studying Production, Science and Management are required to submit their papers in English.

Please note that only applications of female students will be taken into consideration.

The complete application comprises:

  • letter of motivation
  • curriculum vitae
  • proof of academic achievement in previously attended schools or programmes and
  • two reference letters from teachers
  • confirmation of enrolment for the winter semester 2022/23

A jury of experts from TU Graz draw up an initial list of awardees. The final awards will be given based on a hearing held at REMUS.
