Application Bachelor's scholarships

Application is open from 05 May until 07 July 2026 for the following Bachelor's scholarships:

You can apply for a maximum of 2 scholarship programmes, provided the requirements are met.

A separate submission must be made for each application. However, only one scholarship can be awarded per person.

Graz University of Technology gives preference for scholarships to newly admitted students who will begin their studies at Graz University of Technology in the winter semester 2026/27.

Important note: Please note that further scholarships from companies may be added during the current application phase. Please visit our website regularly to ensure that you do not miss out on any funding opportunities.

1. Application Requirements
  • Final school exam with distinguished or good success 
  • Starting with Bachelor's degree programme at TU Graz as of winter semester 2026/27 (For NAWI Graz Bachelor's degree programmes, the main enrolment must take place at TU Graz.)
  • Please note the individual requirements of the respective scholarships

 

2. Application Documents

The complete application comprises the following documents (in German or English) and must be submitted as PDF documents:

  1. Self written letter of motivation
    Describe, for example, why you want to study at TU Graz, why you are enthusiastic about the chosen degree programme and scholarship, which experiences you were able to gain during your school time, which special talents you bring along or what you would like to achieve in the future. Keep it as specific and personal as possible. 
  2. Resume (CV)
  3. School-leaving certificate with grades
  4. Annual report of the last school level with grades 
  5. Copy of passport
  6. If you are already registered at TU Graz: confirmation of study period.

If you would like to apply for a Bachelor’s scholarship within the TU Graz High Potentials scholarship programme, please complete the form via the following link: https://survey.tugraz.at/index.php/221741?lang=en 

 

You may apply for a maximum of two scholarships on the form. Please note that you must upload your personal statement, CV, a scan of your ID, and your high school diploma and school reports as PDF files in order to complete your application. You may also upload additional documents as PDF files.

4. Awarding

The awarding of scholarships takes place in two steps:

  1. The pre-selection is made by a jury of experts at TU Graz.
  2. The final selection is made by the scholarship donors.

In addition to the general application requirements and the high professional qualification, a good general education/open-mindedness, interest/creativity as well as independent thinking are important.

Applicants are expected to receive a letter of acceptance or rejection in August.
