Statements from previous scholarship holders

Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to pursue a path that would allow me to discover new ideas, use my creativity, and better understand myself through learning and problem-solving. Programming first caught my interest out of curiosity, but over time it became my passion, as it combines logical thinking with creativity and offers many opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Studying Software Engineering and Management at TU Graz has given me exactly what I was looking for: an ideal combination of creative work, critical thinking, and the development of strong communication skills. Like many students who move abroad, leaving my home country was challenging, but it also marked an important step toward independence. During this transition, the GRAWE scholarship has supported me in ways that go beyond financial assistance. Having this type of guidance and support has made adjusting to academic life in Austria significantly easier. This sense of security and encouragement motivates me to focus fully on my studies and actively contribute to both the academic and social community around me.

Vanesa Kurtović, Bachelor's Degree Programme Software Engineering and Management

The GRAWE scholarship is a special honour for me. Not only does it give me the financial freedom to focus intensively on my studies, but it also lays one of the foundations for my professional career. I particularly value the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience through summer internships at GRAWE and to establish contacts in the business world at an early stage. For me, this combination of academic theory and the real world of work is the ideal foundation for a successful future.
