Legal Matters & Insurance Management

The Service Department for Legal Matters and Insurance Management provides competent support for the university in all legal matters: legal consultations, contract reviews, legal statements, preparation of sample contracts, etc.

Duties of the Service Department

  • Provides legal support for university administration as well as all institutes  and service departments.
  • Prepares draft contracts, sample contracts, legal appraisals  and statements
  • Maintenance of the electronic contract database
  • Preparation of the University Gazettes (Mitteilungsblatt)
  • Legal support of tenders according to the Federal Public Procurement Act (Bundesvergabegesetz)
  • Dunning and filing of bankruptcy claims
  • Organisation of the insurances of TU Graz
