AVL Scholarships

Bachelor’s and Master’s Scholarships of Excellence for Students in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering

Together with TU Graz, AVL List GmbH will award two scholarships to talented and motivated students - in the Bachelor's level for computer scientists, in the Master's level for students in mechanical engineering for a maximum period of two years.

AVL List GmbH ("AVL") is the world's largest independent company for the development, simulation and testing of drive systems in the automotive and other industries. As a global technology leader, the company delivers concepts, solutions and methods in the areas of e-mobility, ADAS and autonomous driving, vehicle integration, digitalisation, virtualisation, big data and many more.

Quick Facts

  • One Bachelor’s Scholarship for students in Computer Science
  • One master’s Scholarship for students in the Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business Economics, or Production, Science and Management (PSM) programmes
    The scholarship is preferably awarded to newly admitted students at TU Graz.
  • Length: Support will be provided for a maximum of 24 months (with appropriate proof of achievement)
  • Amount: For bachelor’s students, the amount provided each year is 4,000 €, and when appropriate proof of achievement has been provided, a total of 8,000 € over the period of two years. For master’s students, the amount provided each year is 8,000 €, and when appropriate proof of achievement has been provided, a total of 16,000 € over the period of two years.
