Statistics & Reporting

The staff unit Statistics & Reporting is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of non-financial, external and internal reporting across all core areas of the university. It supports the university management in strategic processes through the development and supply of key figures as well as through the preparation of empirical analyses that allow relevant decisions to be made. It also acts as a central point of contact for statistical questions.

Duties

  • Conception, continual development, implementation, interpretation and documentation of central university statistics (research, teaching, intellectual capital)
  • Carries full responsibility for the Intellectual Capital Report at TU Graz
  • Definition and compilation of key figures needed to fulfill additional reporting requirements and for internal management information systems
  • Coordination of data collections from external sources, for example F&E surveys by Statistics Austria
  • Management of the TU Graz presence in international university rankings
  • Benchmark analyses with selected universities for comparison
  • Planning and implementation of empirical studies on current issues
  • Counselling of members of TU Graz during the compilation,  use and interpretation of key figures/statistics and study results
