General Management for Engineers

In the University Course General Management for Engineers, you will acquire a thorough overview of the subject area and learn about the goals and tasks associated with corporate management and organization. In addition, you will gain a systematic overview and a comprehensive understanding of different strategies used in companies. This will provide you with the skills to develop a strategy for your company.

The University Course General Management for Engineers includes two modules with 5 ECTS each:

  • General Management (5 ECTS)
  • Strategic Management (5 ECTS)

The University Course General Management for Engineers has been developed especially for engineers and employees in development and technology fields who would like to understand and be able to apply the strategic and organizationally relevant aspects of (new) technological approaches.

  • Engineers with an interest in strategic and organizational issues related to technological products and services
  • Technical employees in managerial positions who want to take personal advantage of juxtapositions between technological innovation and entrepreneurial success.

To apply for this university course, you need to have qualifications specific to the target group, e.g. those of a project manager, quality engineer, business economist and comparable qualifications.
