In the university course Business Administration for Engineers, you will gain a thorough understanding of business administration, insights that enable you to take a holistic and systematised perspective, as well as comprehensive knowledge of business accounting and the core elements of controlling. You will learn how to recognize essential interrelationships within companies, initiate and carry out independent analyses and evaluations that are required to make business management decisions and make management-oriented decisions.

The university course Business Administration for Engineers includes two modules with 5 ECTS each:

  • Business Administration (5 ECTS)
  • Accounting and Finance - Accounting and Controlling (5 ECTS)

Target groups

The university course Business Administration for Engineers has been developed to meet the needs of people working in companies who want to be able to analyse, explain, initiate, or control operational decision-making processes, as well as to strive to achieve a high level of competence in business administration as specialists and managers.

In view of the increasingly rapid changes occurring on the national and international markets (especially due to the digital transformation), decisions must be supported by business management. An essential success factor for companies is that they display entrepreneurial thinking and take action at all levels and in all functions. This ultimately enables them to understand and control critical business variables.

The course is especially suitable for professionals from the following sectors:

Admission requirements

To apply for this university course, you need to have qualifications specific to the target group, e.g. those of a project manager, quality engineer, business economist or comparable qualifications. Admittance to the course is made by the academic course management based on the qualifications submitted.
