Important Notes
  • Due to the high number of applications, it is NOT possible for us to issue a confirmation of receipt to every applicant.
The processing of an application can take several weeks to months.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to give an exact time frame. Please note that it may not be possible to be admitted in the semester applied for. TU Graz therefore recommends that you submit your application with all the necessary documents as early as possible. TU Graz assumes no responsibility for the organisation of your studies, e.g. visa appointments, relocation planning, etc.
Interventions by e-mail or telephone in the meantime will not speed up the processing of an application.
  • Documents will only be reviewed during the application process!
Applications that are sent by e-mail cannot be considered!
Applications that arrive after the submission deadline can only be considered for a later semester.
  • To ensure data protection, no information regarding the status of the review process can be released to third parties.
  • Only complete applications (i.e. with all required documents) can be considered for admission. Submitting incomplete applications can increase the amount of time required for the review process! You will be informed immediately if documents are missing.
  • According to the Austrian Universities Act (§ 60 para. 6), applications may only be submitted by the applicants themselves or by a person who can represent parties professionally in Austria. Applications submitted in any other way (e.g. via an agency) will be rejected.
