The university course includes the following three topic blocks:
Successful graduates of this university course fulfil part of the economic requirements for becoming an actuary (in accordance with AVÖ requirements).
The university course is primarily aimed at graduates with a degree in mathematics who are currently working or are intending to work for insurance companies, consulting or auditing firms, or financial market supervisory authorities.
The course also provides the opportunity for continuing education and consolidation for already recognised actuaries and those working in relevant fields, such as accounting.
The prerequisite for admission to this university course is training equivalent to that of people in the target group (see Target group) or relevant professional experience in finance or insurance.
The decision on admission to the university course is made by the academic manager responsible on the basis of the qualifications submitted.
In-person stage:
Individual at-home learning: self-study and exam preparation; If needed, supplementary online stage.
