Digital Strategies & Business Modelling

The current markets are more dynamic than ever before: Digital technologies are altering the customers’ behaviour as well as how companies create value. Companies that are able to anticipate the future use of (digital) technologies and to analyse their potential within the company will also be able to recognise new business areas in the digital-economic world more rapidly and accurately. They will also be able to incorporate this "foresight" into their strategic planning and implementation.

The special focus of this module/microcredential is on digital transformation strategies and their internal and external drivers. You will also learn how to apply classic strategic methods in the context of digitalised organisational structures and processes.

In this course, you will acquire knowledge that will enable you to formulate and apply digital strategies. To achieve these goals, you will learn how to strategically apply methods to gain "technology foresight", enabling you to effectively plan and take these strategic steps in the digital economy.
