Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) strives to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG), Federal Law Gazette I No. 59/2019, as amended.
This Accessibility Statement applies to TUGRAZonline https://online.tugraz.at, which is an instance of TU Graz’s campus management system CAMPUSonline adapted to the needs of TU Graz.
Responsibility for its technical implementation, including the digital accessibility of its design, is subject to the limitations of CAMPUSonline as a base product; TU Graz therefore only has a limited influence on the accessibility of TUGRAZonline.
The work done to ensure CAMPUSonline’s accessibility takes into account the content outlined in the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) version 2.1 at Conformance Levels A and AA.
Graz University of Technology continuously tests for accessibility; accessibility tests are conducted for each new development. These tests include contrast checks and screen reader testing.
Because campus management software is designed to handle often highly complex processes, certain areas of the system may not be fully accessible. Instead, they offer the best possible level of accessibility:
This statement was created on 29 August 2025, and is updated regularly.
We strive to eliminate potential and existing barriers to the accessibility of our platforms as quickly as possible and to continuously improve TUGRAZonline.
If you notice any barriers that prevent you from using our website, please let us know. Please send all suggestions to it-support@tugraz.at. Please describe the problem and provide the URL of the affected website.
If you find that the response from the above-mentioned point of contact is not satisfactory, you may file a complaint with the complaints office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints online via the contact form of the complaints office.
The FFG will examine whether the complaint relates to violations of the Web Accessibility Act (WZG), particularly deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an associated institution.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG will issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
