FC-Core

In the FC-Core project (Fuel Cell production—development of Core competences), electrodes for hydrogen fuel cells are manufactured based on developments at Graz University of Technology, in which the amount of platinum in the system is minimized by using innovative and cost-efficient catalysts. In an approach of combined simulation and experiments, cell components are developed and dimensioned, produced, tested and evaluated in this regional collaboration of the ICTM with the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technology and the Joanneum University of Applied Sciences. The project's proximity to applications will increase the visibility of Styria as a land of innovation and help to generate spin-offs.

The project is funded by the Zukunftsfonds Steiermark and the Land Steiermark.
