Dynamic mechanical analysis

DMA Q 800 from TA Instruments Waters GmbH enables to measure viscoelastic properties under a frequency from 0.01 to 200 Hz, a temperature from -150 to 600°C, with a strain resolution of 1 nm, a modulus range from 103 to 3x1012 Pa and tan δ resolution of 1x10-5. The apparatus is equipped with a relative humidity accessory that allows characterizing dynamic-mechanical properties under controlled humidity (5-90 RH %) in the temperature range of 5-120°C. The following modes of deformation are available: dual/single cantilever, 3-point bend, compression, tension. Moreover, film tension, compression and 3-point bending are available in submersible configuration to analyse samples in a fluid environment up to max. 80°C.
