There are many reasons why students from all over the world move to TU Graz. Let’s start with the location of the University right in the middle of Europe – and the University’s strong ties to practical experience and industry. Set in an international technology location, Graz is a place where students can enjoy a lively and at the same time pleasant stay in an urban environment. The extensive green areas and the cultural diversity of the city in which 300,000 people live, among which are 57,000 students, only add to the attraction.
Range of study programmes in English
But let’s talk about the most important thing. TU Graz offers a growing range of master’s programmes held in English in the field of science and engineering. Interested persons can apply for the following programmes until 15 December provided they have a bachelor's or diploma degree in a relevant field and can show proof of English language skills:
- Advanced Materials Science*
- Biomedical Engineering
- Biotechnology*
- Chemical and Pharmaceutical Engineering*
- Computer Science
- Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering
- Information and Computer Engineering

The current range of English-language Master's programmes offered by TU Graz can be found on the website Master's Degree Programmes.
The programmes marked with an asterisk * are offered in the framework of NAWI Graz, a cooperation project between TU Graz and the University of Graz. This means that the programmes are organised and taught by both universities.
