University Programme in Paper and Pulp Technology

The university programme Paper and Pulp Technology at TU Graz is the only one in Austria and one of the few in Europe. When students complete the programme, they are qualified for advanced professional activities in the broad field of the paper and pulp industry as well as in the related suppliers. As paper is made of sustainable resources, it also plays an important role in sustainability. The paper and pulp industry is therefore an industry with a future, with great demand for qualified specialists.

With our university programme Paper and Pulp Technology (Akademisch geprüfte/r Papieringenieur/in) and our MSc-programme (Dipl.-Ing.) Chemical and Process Engineering we offer both a part-time training for professionals in the respective field as well as a university degree for young students (having multiple lectures together). The synergy effects resulting from the contact between both groups of students extend their horizons and show great benefit for both groups.
