Alexander Grabner

I am currently a PhD student at the Insitute for Computer Graphics and Vision at Graz University of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Vincent Lepetit. I received a master’s degree in Telematics (Information and Computer Engineering) in 2016 from Graz University of Technology. My research interests are mainly in the fields of Computer Vision and Machine Learning.

Projects

3D Pose Estimation and 3D Model Retrieval

We present a scalable approach to retrieve 3D models for objects in the wild. Our method builds on the fact that knowing the object pose significantly reduces the complexity of the task.
