Alexander Grabner
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision at Graz University of Technology in the group of Prof. Vincent Lepetit. I received my PhD degree (Informatics) in 2020, my master's degree (Telematik - Information and Computer Engineering) in 2016, and my bachelor's degree (Telematik - Information and Computer Engineering) in 2013, all from Graz University of Technology. My research interests are mainly in the fields of Computer Vision and Machine Learning with a focus on 3D Vision in the wild.
3D Pose Estimation and 3D Model Retrieval
We present a scalable approach to retrieve 3D models for objects in the wild. Our method builds on the fact that knowing the object pose significantly reduces the complexity of the task.
