The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (post doc, 4 years) at the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science

40h/week, presumably starting 01 November 2020.

Admission requirements

Completed doctoral studies in computer science, software development or equivalent doctoral studies at a university.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of data modelling and statistical inference based on large textual data sets.
  • Knowledge of methods for the empirical analysis of human behaviour or user behaviour on the web as well as experience in the development and validation of measurement instruments for the detection of related psychological constructs.
  • Experience in dealing with crowdsourcing platforms and in handling data generated by crowdworkers.
  • Experience with the practical application of machine learning in relation to large data sets and predictions of user behaviour in digital applications.

Classification

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 3.889,50,- gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance).
