If you are an Erasmus+ student, you will need to have your Confirmation of Arrival signed. You can either use the confirmation of your home university or the confirmation provided by TU Graz which you can download in your Mobility-Online workflow.
Come to the International Office – Welcome Center during opening hours, bring a printed and pre-filled copy of your Confirmation of Arrival and have it signed and stamped by your exchange coordinator.
Have you attended and completed courses that were not listed in your original Learning Agreement? Make sure to check with your home university early on whether formal approval of changes is required – this is particularly important for students in the Erasmus+ programme.
Changes to the Learning Agreement should, if necessary, be made only once per semester.
Check for any deadlines with your home university and start the process in good time – preferably after the start of the semester, once it is clear which courses you will actually take.
If you are using the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) (e.g., as an Erasmus+ incoming student), please note the following:
Do not create a new Learning Agreement!
Changes must be made directly in the existing OLA.
Entering changes:
Confirmation of Changes: Once the changes have been fully submitted, the International Office - Welcome Center at TU Graz will be notified. We will forward the OLA requiring a signature directly to the Departmental Coordinator.
Additional Information
If you are not using the Online Learning Agreement (e.g., for ISEP, OverSEAs, or other programmes, or if your Erasmus+ partner university does not support the OLA), please follow these steps:
Ensure that the form is completed fully, including your name in the header, and provide the course number and title for each course you wish to add or remove. Only list courses that you are changing; courses that remain unchanged should not be included on the form.
Then, sign it yourself and ask your Departmental Coordinator at TU Graz for signature (in person or by e-mail).
At the end of your exchange stay, you have to download your Transcript of Records from TUGRAZonline. The Transcript of Records lists all courses that you have successfully completed at TU Graz.
Transcriptsin your personal desktop.
TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS, check if the language is English, and click the
This document bears a digital signature on the backside and is valid as an official document to be used for course recognition at your home university.
You have access to your personal account until 31 March for the winter semester and 31 October after the summer semester and full academic year.
Please note:
The transcript of records only lists the courses that you have successfully completed at TU Graz. Failed courses are not included. Also, language courses and courses that were taken at one of the other universities in Graz will not appear on this transcript.
Exception for NAWI students:
NAWI students receive a transcript of records that lists all courses that were successfully completed at TU Graz and the University of Graz.
You can download your transcript of records from the University of Graz (for example, for German courses taken at "treffpunkt sprachen") via your UNIGRAZonline business card.
If your university additionally requires the transcript to have an official signature and/or seal, please contact the
Office of Academic Affairs of the University of Graz
Universitätsplatz 3, 1st floor,
studienabteilung@uni-graz.at
If you worked on your thesis, dissertation, or a project during your stay at TU Graz, you will not receive a transcript of records. However, you can request a confirmation from your supervisor or the institute.
Most home universities require a Confirmation of Attendance.
Please note:
We can only confirm dates from First Orientation until end of lecture period or your last exam. Travel time cannot be confirmed.
If you worked on your master’s thesis, dissertation or project during holidays, you will need a confirmation from your supervisor and submit said confirmation to the International Office – Welcome Center in order to obtain your official Confirmation of Attendance.
Before leaving Austria, it is necessary for you to go to the registration office (Meldeamt) with your registration form ("Meldezettel") in order to de-register.
Address:
Tummelplatz 9, 8010 Graz
Please book a slot to de-register in person
https://www.etermin.net/stadtgraz/serviceid/151403
If you are a citizen of a country in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or of Switzerland, and you spent more than 3 months in Austria, you had to register with the office of Government of the Federal Province of Styria ("Anmeldebescheinigung") at the beginning of your stay. Before leaving, you need to de-register again.
You can do that by writing an e-mail to abteilung3@stmk.gv.at
Give your full name according to passport, nationality, passport number or ID card number, date of arrival according to your “Meldezettel”, and leaving date.
Do not forget to close your bank account. If you have taken out a personal insurance policy in Graz, please do not forget to cancel this insurance.
We are very interested to continuously improve our services and support for our exchange students.
For this reason, at the end of your stay you will receive a link via email which leads to a short survey about your experience at TU Graz and the support of the International Office – Welcome Center.
Your answers help us to support future incoming exchange students even better.
So please, contribute by taking some minutes to fill complete our survey, like so many others did before so you could receive the best-possible support during your stay.
