Young Author Awards

As part of the symposium, "Young Author Awards" are presented to support and promote young researchers. In addition, the full paper of the award winners will be published in a special issue of the e&i Journal.

Eligible to participate are authors who are not older than 30 years, submit a full paper on time, are listed as first authors, and present the conference paper themselves.

Early-career researchers are particularly supported as part of this symposium. In addition to reduced participation fees for students, young author awards are presented. In total, ten young authors are honoured. The "Young Author Awards" are presented during the evening event in the "Nikola Tesla High Voltage Hall" by Mag. Andrea HÖGLINGER (Vice Rector for Research at TU Graz) and Mag. Hannes BAUER (Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology). The ceremony is moderated by Vice Dean of Studies Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe SCHICHLER (TU Graz, Faculty of Electrical and Information Engineering and Head of the Institute of High Voltage Engineering and System Management).
