How do I register for the symposium?

Registration for the symposium is possible on the REGISTRATION page.

When does the symposium start and end?

The detailed schedule will be announced in January. The symposium starts on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at around 12:00 and ends on Friday, February 13, 2026 at around 14:00.

How do I upload my short biography?

To upload your short biography, please log in to ConfTool and navigate to Your submission > Upload final version (optional).
Enter your short biography in the field Short biography of the presenting author.

Is there a review process for the submissions?

The submitted abstracts are reviewed by a reviewing committee consisting of internationally recognized experts. Further information can be found under Reviewing Committee.

How long does my presentation last?

If there are 4 presenters in your session, your presentation is limited to a speaking time of 20 minutes. If there are 5 presenters, the speaking time is reduced to 15 minutes.

During the symposium

Where do I register on site?

Registration/check-in takes place at the reception on the ground floor of Inffeldgasse 25D (see campus map).

The reception opens at 10:00 on the first day of the symposium (February 11, 2026).

If you do not arrive on the first day of the symposium, registration/check-in will also take place at the reception.

Where can I find an overview plan of the conference?

Where do the presentations take place?

The lecture halls in which the sessions take place are listed in the conference schedule in the right-hand box of each session (designations i1, i3, i5, i7, i11, i12, i13).

My presentation/slides have changed at short notice. Whom should I contact?

Each session has a lecture hall assistant responsible for the preparations and the smooth running of the presentations. Please contact this person no later than before the start of your session. You can recognize them by their red name badges.

Is there a workspace and preparation area for conference participants?

Yes. It is located in lecture hall i4 on the ground floor of Inffeldgasse 25D.

What catering is provided during the symposium?

Catering includes coffee breaks and lunch. In addition, extensive catering will be offered at the evening events.

Where do the evening events take place?

The first evening event will take place in the Aula of the Old University of Graz. Further information on how to get there. The second evening event will take place on the conference premises (Nikola Tesla Hall).

How do I get to the first evening event?

Shuttle buses are available for traveling to the first evening event at the Old University. Further information on how to get there.

Is there on-site Wi-Fi access?

Where can I leave my clothing?

You are welcome to leave your clothing at the conference office.

Can I leave individual pieces of luggage?

You are welcome to leave individual pieces of luggage at the conference office.

Where can I print documents?

At the conference office, various documents can be printed in black and white to a limited extent.

At the Printkultur Shop of TU Graz (ground floor, Inffeldgasse 10, near the cafeteria), documents can be printed without restriction and for a fee, both in color and in black and white.
