The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (prae doc, 3 years) at the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science

40h/week, presumably starting 01 November 2020.

Admission requirements

Completed master's or diploma studies in computer science, software development, telecommunications engineering or comparable studies.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of programming languages (Python, web technologies). Python is a must.
  • Machine learning, understanding of neural networks. Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • User-centered design / requirements analysis
  • Valuation methods
  • Teamwork, independence and a high degree of communication skills
  • Excellent English

Our offer

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 2.929,- gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance) and may possibly be increased on the basis of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement by taking into account previous experience specific to the job as well as other remuneration components associated with the special features of the job.
