There is much more than "just" studying in Austria. From sports and cultural opportunities to city flair, nightlife, nature and culinary delights. Graz has a lot to offer. Here is a small sample.

Students appreciate the comfortable "City", for example because of the trendy Lend district around Kunsthaus Graz, Mariahilferstrasse and Lendplatz not far from the City centre.

From cinema to theatre, from bouldering to yoga, from the slide in the Schlossberg to the café on the Mur island. If you want to study in Austria, you should take a closer look at what is on offer in Graz. Students appreciate the comfortable "City", for example because of the trendy Lend district for shopping and spending time around Kunsthaus Graz, Mariahilferstrasse and Lendplatz. Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) with its huge range of technology and science studies is easily accessible by public transport and by bicycle. As a student city, Graz naturally has an abundance of cosy pubs, chic bars and trendy restaurants. Open-air restaurants and coffee houses have always been an excellent place to meet for “studying". Sport and studying in Graz

A healthy mind lives in a healthy body. Athletic people will find a variety of sports clubs, fitness studios, crossfit boxing and yoga studios in Graz. Boulder halls, paddleboarding and kayaking on the Mur, tennis, soccer and ice hockey – the possibilities are endless. For hiking and mountain biking but also for downhill fans the Schöckl near Graz is the right place. Various running events take place every year. For those who just want to get some fresh air, a walk on the Schloßberg, a tour along the River Mur cycle path or a short hike to the Gösting Castle ruins is recommended.
