20 Years of Life Long Learning – From the Idea to the Continuing Education Programme

Needs-orientated continuing education programmes for working people depend on the commitment of TU Graz teaching staff. High-quality, practical formats can only be offered if experts pass on their knowledge.
Your expertise in continuing education – let LLL accompany you
Life Long Learning (LLL) provides you as a teacher with comprehensive support in the development, implementation and marketing of innovative continuing education programmes – so that you can concentrate fully on your content. Whether micro-credentials, university course, university programme or promoted qualification project, the service department accompanies you from the idea to successful implementation.
- Conception, development and planning of continuing education programmes. Our services help you to develop sustainable and targeted formats – with a view to the market, target groups and feasibility.
- Implementation and organisational realisation. LLL takes care of the most important organisational aspects to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- Visibility and reach of your range of courses. The LLL team ensures that your continuing education is visible – online and offline.
- Project development and initiation of promoted innovative qualification projects. Do you have a project idea with practice partners? LLL advises you on funding opportunities – in particular on FFG-funded (Austrian Research Programme) qualification projects in forward-looking areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, green transition/sustainability and cybersecurity.
New and future support services
Do you have an idea or a topic that you would like to pass on? The LLL team is looking forward to hearing from you. The service department is constantly developing its range of services so that you can continue to teach flexibly and innovatively in the future. The plans include:
- Transformation of existing teaching content from standard teaching to part-time continuing education, e.g. in the form of flexible micro-credentials
- Integration of AI-supported tools and AI-generated content to enrich teaching
- Development of modular continuing education programmes that better reflect individual learning needs

Did you know that TU Graz members can also take part in many of the continuing education programmes offered by Life Long Learning? Often with reduced participation fees!
TU Graz teaching staff deserve thanks
TU Graz currently has a wide-ranging continuing education portfolio that is highly recognised both nationally and internationally. Behind every continuing education programme are committed people who bring these formats to life: ‘Our special thanks go to all colleagues who have been involved in academic continuing education in the past or who are currently involved – whether as lecturers or in the organisational and administrative implementation,’ emphasises LLL head Ernst Kreuzer. We therefore invite all TU Graz staff to celebrate with us: Save the date: 20 years of Life Long Learning – 30 October 2025, 13:00 to 18:00 (details to follow).
