The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (Prae Doc, 4 years) at the Institute of Medical Engineering

40h/week, presumably starting 01 October 2020.

Admission requirements

Completed Masters or Diploma studies in Biomedical Engineering or a related basic subject.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Committed and team-oriented personality with a good command of written and spoken English,
  • specialization in one or more of the following areas such as medical imaging, magnetic resonance, image or signal processing, optimization and modeling with experience in programming as well as interdisciplinary cooperation.
  • The scientific field of activity includes the development, implementation and optimization of MR techniques for high-field applications.
  • Furthermore the participation and execution of teaching tasks and in the area of administration.

Classification

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 2.929.- gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance).
