The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (pre doc, 3 years) at the Institute of Neural Engineering

40h/week, presumably starting 01 July 2020.

Admission requirements

Completed master's or diploma degree in Information & Computer Engineering / Biomedical Engineering or comparable studies.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Experience in biosignal processing and pattern recognition;
  • experience in performing and evaluating EEG and/or fNIRS experiments;
  • basic statistical knowledge,
  • very good programming skills in Matlab and/or Python;
  • very good English skills;
  • very good computer skills (Windows/Linux operating systems),
  • interest in a dissertation.
  • Participation in courses and conducting experiments.
  • Willingness for mobility, participation in (inter)national conferences, summer schools.

Classification

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 2.929 gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance).
