The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (post doc, 6 years) at the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science

40h/week, presumably starting 01 February 2021.

Admission requirements

Completed doctoral studies in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics/Statistics, Social Sciences, Psychology or equivalent.

Wanted Qualifications

Experience in research on human behavior with quantitative and computational methods
Knowledge of programming languages for data retrieval and statistics (e.g. python, R)
Experience publishing research articles and presenting at scientific conferences
Excellent spoken and written English skills
Previous participation in research grant proposals and organization of scientific events is a plus
Experience supervising undergraduate students or leading small research teams is a plus

Our offer

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 3.889,50,- gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance).
