The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (post doc, 6 years) at the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science

40h/week, presumably starting 01 February 2021.

Admission requirements

Completed doctoral studies in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics/Statistics, Social Sciences, Psychology or equivalent.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Experience in research on human behavior with quantitative and computational methods
  • Knowledge of programming languages for data retrieval and statistics  (e.g. python, R)
  • Experience publishing research articles and presenting at scientific conferences
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Previous participation in research grant proposals and organization of scientific events is a plus
  • Experience supervising undergraduate students or leading small research teams is a plus

Our offer

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 3.889,50,- gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance).
