The Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology is committed to excellence in research and teaching. University Assistant (PraeDoc, 4 years) at the Institute of Interactive Systems and Data Science

40h/week, presumably starting 01 October 2020.

Admission requirements

Completed master's or diploma studies in computer science, software development, teaching profession in computer science, or completion of an equivalent study.

Wanted Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of computer science didactics, for the holding of programming courses.
  • Experience in the conception of teaching content.
  • Practical experience in the use of teaching and learning technologies to support teaching.
  • Programming skills in C/C++.
  • High level of social and didactic competence (experience as a study assistant desirable).
  • Good language skills in German and English.

Our offer

B 1 under the collective agreement for university employees; the monthly minimum remuneration for this use is currently € 2.929,- gross (14 times per year, including social and health insurance) and may possibly be increased on the basis of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement by taking into account previous experience specific to the job as well as other remuneration components associated with the special features of the job.
