DI Dr. Clemens Arth is a technology consultant and senior scientist at Graz University of Technology, leading research in the area of eXtended Reality. His main research interests are Computer Vision algorithms, Augmented Reality technology and Machine Learning. In the past, he was CEO of AR4 Gmbh and deputy director of two Christian Doppler Laboratories at Graz University of Technology, one on Handheld Augmented Reality and one on Semantic 3D Computer Vision. In 2015 he won the best paper award at the International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR), followed by the best demo award at ISMAR in 2021 and several other honorable mentioned and best paper awards over the years.
