Abstract: In industrial settings, the digital footprint of cyber-physical systems collected in so-called digital twins, support the monitoring and control of real-world environments and machinery. However, current interaction and analytics methods for digital twins are limited. They only offer a peephole view into the data and are not suited for such situated sense-making tasks. We present our research of virtual reality and augmented reality interfaces providing interactive exploration and analysis of digital twins regardless of location.
