The Innovation Gala is the highlight of the Product Innovation Project. Students from various disciplines, both national and international, join forces to tackle an innovation challenge presented by one of our industry partners.
This year, a total of 22 students, divided into five teams, faced the challenges presented by Andritz, Astotec, Palfinger, Payer, and OMV. Come and see what they teams achieved!
Team Andritz was looking for sustainable solutions to increase energy efficiency in the paper production process. Team Astotec's task was to find new applications for pyrotechnic tensioner solutions. Team Palfinger worked on finding cleaner, more adaptable urban transportation systems for the construction industry in future cities. Team Payer developed new hair removal concepts for hard-to-reach areas of the body. Team OMV worked on the automatization of a visual particle analyzer.
