TU Graz stands for high-quality education for students in the natural sciences and technology. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs is responsible for ensuring that the quality of teaching and learning is continuously developed and that teachers, deans of studies, dean's offices and institutes are supported in this.

The structure of the Vice Rectorate for Academic Affairs ensures that synergy potentials can be exploited by optimally linking and interlocking the organisational units. High-quality advisory and support activities promote strategic developments such as internationalisation, digitalisation or cooperation on the one hand and enable active participation in the further development of teaching on the other. This creates added value for the target groups of students, teachers, alumni/alumnae and society in the sense of lifelong learning.
