Registration for the Continuation of Studies

You are always registered for your degree programme at TU Graz for one semester.

To continue studying at TU Graz, please register to continue your studies every semester during the admission period.

You can register for the continuation of studies by paying the Austrian Student Union fee (ÖH fee) and, if necessary, tuition fees.

1. Before the start of the admission period, the TU Graz Registrar's Office will inform you via TUGrazonline of the required payment for the following semester. Please contact the Registrar's Office if the payment information does not appear.
2. Please pay the mandatory sum.
3. Depending on which payment option you choose, it may take a different amount of time (max. 4 days) for a continuation notification to be issued for your ongoing degree programmes.
4. Print the expiry date for the following semester on your TU Graz card at an extension station.

Attention! If you pay on another university, you need to continue your registration yourself (TUGRAZonline – continue registration for studies) or you contact the Registrar’s Office by writing an email or you stop by in person!

If you do not register to continue your studies or the winter semester by 31 October and for the summer semester by 31 March, your admission to your degree programme at TU Graz will expire.
