Austrian Microdata Center

Statistics Austria offers a fee-based service for the use of microdata called Austrian Microdata Center (AMDC). Since TU Graz is accredited as a research institution for the use of this service, you can use it as a researcher (necessary budget required). In the context of cooperations, a list of currently authorised institutions can be accessed.

In addition, Statistics Austria offers a free database with open data on a wide range of topics. In addition to the microdata catalogue, it is recommended to search this database to see if it contains free data relevant to your research.
