Students and young scientists can apply for a scholarship for the European Forum Alpbach 2018 until 30 March.
Rector Harald Kainz with scholarship holders of TU Graz at last year's Forum Alpbach
The world of science, business and politics will again meet in the small Tyrolean mountain village Alpbach in August - this time to discuss in detail the topic "Diversity & Resilience". Every summer, more than 700 young people from around 80 countries also take part in the European Forum Alpbach, immersing themselves in a unique environment of new ideas, ways of thinking and contacts.
The participation of students and young researchers from Styria has been supported by the Club Alpbach Steiermark through scholarships for many years. This year's application deadline for a scholarship is 30 March. A scholarship offers the opportunity to take part in the seminars, breakout sessions and plenary debates of the European Forum Alpbach. The offer is aimed at young people who want to come to Alpbach with fresh ideas for science and society in their luggage.
