With a focus on new technologies, digitalization, decarbonization and climate neutrality, the new university course at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) – Executive MBA in Green and Digital Transition (“EMBA twin”) – is aimed at corporate managers who want to understand and implement the digital and “green” transition to more sustainability as a holistic and integrative process. The course starts on 1st March 2023, the registration deadline is 31st January, and there is an early booking bonus discount of ten per cent on the participation fee of 24,900 euros until 24th December 2022. All information is available at www.EMBATwin.tugraz.at.

Transformation of companies and business models

Digitalization, the challenges of climate change and the associated need for decarbonization as well as global dependencies are forcing the transformation of companies and the world of work in many areas. Currently, many managers not only need to realign their companies to achieve growth and stability, but also to think about ways to transform their business model more profoundly. It is a question of being able to sustainably hold one’s own even in volatile markets or of being able to recapture one’s position in a newly defined market. This requires managers who are able to view the topics of “technologies” and “sustainability”, i.e. green and digital transformation, holistically and integratively in the sense of a so-called “twin transition”.

The interdisciplinary university course Executive MBA in Green and Digital Transition – EMBA twin for short – combines the two topics of the future digital transformation and green transition in a hitherto unique way and enables executives to be trained in a scientifically sound and at the same time action-oriented way at a strategic and operational level.

Course start: 1st March 2023
Registration deadline: 31st January 2023
Early booking bonus: 24th December 2022

Target group leaders

The university course is aimed at leaders from different industries who have several years of leadership and management experience and who would like to further develop their (leadership) knowledge in the context of the double disruption in order to future-proof companies. The university course positions itself directly at the interface of digitalization/digital transformation and green transition with a focus on the decarbonization of companies and trains students to become managers who are not only aware of the environmental impact of their business activities, but who also know the possibilities of new technologies as “enablers” towards climate-neutral companies.
