To encourage cultural exchange between nations and to get people interested in different cultures – these are the goals of IAESTE Graz, part of IAESTE a.s.b.l., the world’s biggest organisation for providing students with paid, course-related training abroad.

IAESTE Graz (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) is a non-profit student organisation. In addition to the international exchange programme, the team is also committed to local and Austrian career projects such as the career fair TECONOMY Graz or the Austrian FirmenShuttle that enables students to get to know companies on site

Silvia Groiss, Team Member

IAESTE is like an international family. Based on the principle ‘Let’s learn, play and grow together’, from our base in Graz we organise exchanges for sixty students every year, building international friendships and expanding our soft and social skills. We learn things like project and team management in a hands-on, playful way. During the two years I’ve been a member of IAESTE, I have grown in different ways, which also benefits me in my studies and everyday life. Besides, just studying is boring, isn’t it?
