TU Graz Student Union (HTU Graz)

Just like you, the advisors at the HTU were once in the position of having to choose a degree programme and find their way around the university. Now, dedicated students share their experiences and knowledge with you, making not only the initial phase easier, but also your whole degree.

The TU Graz Student Union

  • provides registration advice between July and September
  • provides tips and information for university entrants: on the most important differences between school and university, on typical terms and abbreviations that exist at university and what they mean
  • provides the Campusboard, where you can find jobs or accommodation.
  • organises advice, events and activities for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students.
  • supports international students with the mentoring programme and fun events.
  • is your student representation and is therefore your point of contact for all degree related matters.
  • provides services such as numerous study rooms, a free rental service, two copy shops, events, and much more.

For me, the HTU offers its services as a complete package. Whether the students have questions about financial support, their curriculum, their examination rights, discrimination, or something totally different, our team always finds a solution. It’s very important to us to rapidly respond to e-mails and personal conversations. Our representation work in the Senate, the Academic Commission and in other committees is particularly noteworthy, because we can shape the degree programmes offered at the TU. Of course, social meetings and celebrations shouldn’t be neglected - we really enjoy organizing the beverage stands and festivals on campus!
