More than 650 participants and 250 speakers gathered at TU Graz for three days of intensive discussions on innovations for a sustainable energy future.
The 19th Symposium Energieinnovation, held under the motto “ENERGIZING EUROPE – Innovations for a Sustainable Energy Future”, has been successfully concluded.
Over the past three days, around 250 speakers and more than 650 participants engaged in intensive discussions on current scientific findings, technological developments, and energy policy frameworks. The focus was on solutions to the major challenges of the energy transition – ranging from the integration of renewable energy sources and infrastructure and grid issues to market and regulatory design.
The discussions clearly demonstrated that the challenges are substantial. However, with the right strategic decisions and through close cooperation between academia, industry, policymakers, and society, they can be successfully addressed together. Once again, the symposium provided a central platform for exchange, networking, and interdisciplinary dialogue.
Our special thanks go to the Graz University of Technology as well as to the co-organizers Oesterreichs Energie, OVE Austrian Electrotechnical Association and WEC Austria. We also thank the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism, the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure, the Province of Styria, and the City of Graz for their support.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters:
Thank you to all contributors, speakers, and participants whose commitment, presentations, and discussions made the symposium a success.
We are already looking forward to welcoming you again at the 20th Symposium Energieinnovation in February 2028!
