ABS Network SIAT125 The project “ABS Network” generates a knowledge database between Slovenian and Austrian experts in the area of efficient usage of sun energy in building skins. The project team, consisting of experts from the Graz University of Technology, the company Talum d.d. and Tiko Pro d.o.o., will intensively work on the ABS Network for the following two years. The objective of this project is the development of a solar activated façade panel, as well as the development and the enlargement of a topic-related knowledge network. The technological innovation of this project is the combination of the forming process “roll-bonding” from the industrial partner Talum d.d. with the knowledge about façade engineering at the Graz University of Technology. The company Tiko Pro d.o.o. is responsible for the knowledge enlargement and knowledge exchange between the stakeholders. Thereby, the project contributes to the improvement of the cross-border cooperation and competitiveness of the relevant parties through the knowledge transfer, reinforcement of the R&D and the usage of R&D infrastructures. Beneficiaries of the output of this project are industry representatives, knowledge institutions and students of the program region. Updates on the project are constantly published on www.abs-network.eu.
