When an Entrepreneurship course starts with a full room, and 13 students still on the waiting list, it says something about the growing interest in entrepreneurial thinking.
We were therefore very pleased that we could offer a place to everyone who joined us for the first intensive day of class.
The day gave students a first impression of what this course is about: developing ideas, testing assumptions, learning how to communicate them, and connecting with the regional start-up ecosystem.
Silvia Ferreira Regalado from the Institute of Human-Centred Computing introduced the Green Entrepreneurship Chatbot, a new tool that our students will be among the first to work with during the course.
Susanna Krammer from Green Tech Valley presented the Green Startup Summer Program and shared how students can take their ideas further in the field of green innovation.
Afterwards, Martin Glinik and Theophil Kroller introduced Gründungsgarage, the local start-up accelerator programme, and gave students a preview of what to expect in the coming weeks.
Two parts of the kick-off are always particular highlights: Jasper Ettema’s pitching workshop, where students work on communicating their ideas clearly and convincingly, and the ideation workshop with Daniel Reicher, using the Moonshot Game to generate and further develop first business ideas.
A full first day, and a good starting point for the weeks ahead.
We are looking forward to accompanying the students as their ideas take shape.
Three inspiring days in Wrocław as part of the UNITE! Seed Fund Entrepreneurship initiative.
From 18 to 20 March, Theophil Kroller and Martin Glinik joined colleagues from TU Darmstadt and Wrocław University of Science and Technology to collaboratively develop an International Tech Entrepreneurship Curriculum.
The program is designed as a hands on and experience based learning journey. It focuses on the commercialization of patents, close collaboration with technology transfer centres and incubators, as well as mentorship from legal experts, industry specialists and startup practitioners.
The exchange between partners was particularly valuable and helped align perspectives, further develop ideas and provided ample opportunities for networking.
A big thank you to our hosts at Wrocław University of Science and Technology for the warm welcome and to everyone involved for the engaging and inspiring discussions.

Last Thursday, our Technology Management course had the privilege of hosting President Dr. Stefan Harasek from the Österreichisches Patentamt for an insightful Guest Lecture, organized by Camilla Reis, Dr. Thomas Draschbacher and Michael Rachinger.
In today’s fast-moving tech world, understanding how to protect innovations is key for future engineers and managers competing on a global stage. A huge thanks to him for sharing his expertise and inspiring our students!
Our major research project “Cooperation for Hubs in Urban Logistics” (CO4HUB) officially started on January 1st, 2026. Together with our research partners, we are exploring new ways to make urban logistics more efficient and sustainable by developing and testing cooperative urban logistics hubs.
In the project, we investigate how logistics operators can collaborate, share infrastructure, and bundle deliveries in order to reduce traffic, emissions, and noise in cities. By combining research, real-world pilots, and close collaboration with stakeholders, we aim to create practical solutions that improve how goods move through urban areas.
It’s an exciting topic with great potential for the future of sustainable logistics—and we’re looking forward to the journey ahead.

In the SummerTerm of 2026, there will be no Processmanagement Lecture. This is due to the fact, that the professor who was responsible for this lecture will not be holding it in this semester.
Thank you for understanding.
