Erasmus+ CoVE EE4M Project
On the 2nd and 3rd of October, the Kick-Off Meeting for the Erasmus+ CoVE EE4M project was held at Montanuniversität Leoben. Christiana Ropposch representet the Institute of General Management and Organisation (UFO) during this event.
The project Erasmus+ CoVE EE4M (Engineering Excellence fort the Mobility Value Chain) aims to enhance the education and training of engineers in the field of smart/digital and sustainable operations management in the value chain of the entire mobility sector (from raw materials to recycling).
This should be achieved within a consortium of 15 fullpartnerns and 35 associate partners from four countries (Austria, Italy, Greece and Spain) and from different sectors (research, industry and education). They will focus on the competence-based reorientatin of engineering education.
Innovation Logic, AI and Patent Inspiration
The seminar „Innovation Logic, AI and Patent Inspiration - capabilities for problem solving in innovation driven organisations“ with Simon Dewulf, CEO of Aulive will take place at the Graz University of Technology the 5 & 6 of September 2023. Project HEICE (High Tech Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competences)
We are thrilled to announce that our project HEICE (High Tech Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competences) has been selected as one of the 16 winning projects in this year's EIT HEI initiative. We are proud to collaborate with project partners from Portugal and Serbia, and we have secured funding from EU/EIT KIC Health to enhance innovation capabilities and foster entrepreneurial skills in the field of Deep Tech.
The official launch of the HEICE project took place during the captivating #IVAP2023 workshop held in Prague.

Deine Schritte zum Sommer-Startup
- Reiche bis spätestens 08. Mai 2023 deine Klimaschutz-Idee ein.
- Die Jury aus Expert:innen der Stadt Graz, der SFG, des Science Park Graz, der Gründungsgarage und des Green Tech Valley Cluster wählt die besten Ideen aus, die am Sommerprogramm teilnehmen. Folgende Schwerpunkte werden von der Jury besonders begutachtet:
- Die Idee trifft das Thema Klima- und Umweltschutz.
- Die Idee ist innovativ.
- Ein konkretes Problem wird gelöst.
- Starker unternehmerischer Spirit ist erkennbar.
- Es besteht ein klares Bild, was mit der Idee erreicht werden soll.
- Im Programm von Juli bis September entwickelst du deine Idee gemeinsam mit den Expert:innen in verpflichtenden Workshops erfolgreich zu einem Startup-Konzept weiter.
- Der Großteil der Workshops findet in Graz statt. Wir hoffen du bist auch für Tagesausflüge zum schönen Wörthersee, Leoben und Kapfenberg bereit.
- Beim Abschlussevent pitchst du deine Idee vor einem großem Publikum, der Green Tech & Startup Community und hast die Chance auf tolle Preise.
- Für deinen Abschluss erhältst du als Einzelteilnehmer 3.500 €, als 2er-Team 5.500 € und als 3er-Team 6.000 € als Startkapital für euer grünes Startup.
