EMC Laboratory

The IFE is in possession of test equipment to measure electromagnetic disturbances like ESD, fast transients and RF interference, as well as two surface scanning devices to measure near E- and H-fields at the surface of PCBs and ICs. Pre-compliance tests can be made in shielded chambers (1 GHz, 3 GHz, and 30 GHz). We provide EMC measurement equipment for students and research partners in order to do pre-compliance testing for scientific investigations.
