Dipl.-Ing. Gernot Riegler

Gernot Riegler is a third year Ph.D. student and university assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision under the supervision of Prof. Horst Bischof. Prior to joining the institute he studied computer science and received his Bachelor's and Master's (Dipl.-Ing.) degree in 2011 and 2013. He has broad interests in computer vision and machine learning and is further involved in teaching. Gernot Riegler's current research focuses on deep learning methods for low-level vision and pose estimation. At the moment he is doing an internship with Andreas Geiger at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.
