Darko Štern is currently contributing as an external lecturer at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision on the Technical University of Graz (TU-Graz). He studied Electrical Engineering at University of Belgrade, Serbia and finished his PhD thesis at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2013, he got a Marie Curie Fellowship project hosted by the ICG institute. At the moment Darko is working on medical image analysis related projects in the ongoing collaboration between Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Clinical Forensic Imaging, Graz – which is Darko’s employer - and Prof. Horst Bischof at the Institute of Computer Graphics and Vision. So far he has the following qualifications: MSc, PhD. The research interests of Darko lie in medical image analysis and machine learning algorithms.
