Robert Gaugl presented the V2G-QUESTS project at the UTM Urban Mobility Webinar.

As part of the webinar “UTM Urban Mobility Webinar (4/4): Steering towards sustainability via electrified transport”, Robert Gaugl from the Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation (IEE) at TU Graz presented the research project V2G-QUESTS.

The webinar addressed how the electrification of the transport sector can contribute to the decarbonisation of urban mobility. While the adoption of electric vehicles is accelerating, cities still face key challenges related to prioritisation, stakeholder roles, and the technical implementation of e-mobility solutions.

The discussion focused on important enablers such as the deployment of charging infrastructure, the integration of electric buses into public transport systems, and the effective coupling of e-mobility with the power grid. It highlighted that aligning technology choices, grid integration, and investment strategies is essential to achieving long-term climate and mobility goals.
