Official Welcome Ceremony at the Austrian Academy of Sciences

Following the election of Univ.-Prof. Sonja Wogrin as a corresponding member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), the official welcome ceremony for all newly elected members recently took place in Vienna.

After recently announcing that Univ.-Prof. Sonja Wogrin was elected as a corresponding member of the  Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), the official ceremony introducing all newly elected members recently took place in Vienna.

The ceremony offered a wonderful opportunity for the new members to meet, connect, and exchange ideas in person. Bringing together researchers from a wide range of scientific disciplines, the event highlighted the important role of the ÖAW as a platform for scientific collaboration and interdisciplinary dialogue in Austria.

We are very happy that Sonja Wogrin is now part of the  Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and are excited about the future exchange and opportunities this new role within the Academy will bring.
