Meeting Research Center Energetic

At the biannual meeting of the Research Center Energetic, organized by the IEE, the focus was on current developments and research projects by early-career researchers.

On July 3rd, 2025, our institute proudly hosted the internal networking meeting of the Research Center Energetic at TU Graz, aimed at strengthening collaboration across institutes and initiating joint project development.

We were honored to welcome Vice-Rector for Research Andrea Höglinger, who shared valuable insights on the future development of the Research Centers at TU Graz. This was followed by an update on current activities from the Research Center by Sonja Wogrin.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the project “Hydropower under Climate Change” by Wolfgang Richter and Lukas Kloiber, a collaboration between the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management and our institute.

The meeting also featured a dynamic round of elevator pitches by young researchers, who presented their project ideas and shared what expertise they are seeking from other institutes. A big thank you to Thomas Klatzer, Michael Obermayr, Alexander Konrad, Andrés Parra-Puerto, Lukas Pachernegg-Mair, and Andrés Bernabeu Santisteban for their inspiring contributions!

The event concluded with the TU Graz summer party, providing a relaxed atmosphere for further exchange and network building.
