Introduction of Lia Gruber in the Planet Research Magazine of the TU Graz.
At Graz University of Technology, she researched areas that would be particularly suitable for deep-sea offshore wind power plants as part of her master's thesis, which recently won a Best Paper Award. She is now a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation and is conducting research on energy communities, which have recently been put into law. In such a community, several people join together to generate, store and consume electricity.
Full of energy, that's what the young electrical engineer really is. No wonder, since the 26-year-old is also referred to as a "powerhouse" by head of institute Sonja Wogrin.
